you all for attending Our Afrikan Family's Community Center grand opening as well as Halloween safe zone. This has been a goal of ours for a long time and we are officially open for business. We welcome the community in the safe space that has been created to provide resources to the Fifth Ward community.
We had a GREAT time our our Halloween event! The kids AND adults played Jenga, Scrabble, three-legged race, potato sack race, bobbing for apples and tug-of-war!!! We ate funnel cakes, corn dogs, popcorn and of course candy.
A special thanks to all the vendors and non-profits that came to support and share their resources with the community. We truly appreciate you a look forward to maintaining those partnerships in the coming years.
